Which AirTrack is Perfect for Me?

AirTrack's come in all shapes and sizes. It can be difficult to choose which size and style works for you.  Here's a quick cheat sheet to help you make your decision:

1) Thickness

The thicker the mat the "bouncier" the mat.  Your most common choices in thickness are 4 in, 8 in, or 13 in.  13 inch mats are popular with power tumbling and commercial trampoline parks. For homes the choice then becomes between 4 or 8 in.

4 inch mats are similar to the standard gymnastics spring floor. When compared to foam mats or grass they'll be more forgiving allowing for more repetition, training and play.

8 inch mats will provide more bounce than the 4 inch mat.  These mats may be referred to as P2 or 20cm or Zephyr 8. This can be helpful when it comes to flipping, bounding, or tumbling training.

2) Length

Tumbling and tricks take length.  It's fair to cheat and say 8 feet per skill.  Passes can obviously be started before the Airfloor and continue on after.

If you're interested in multiple skill tumbling training definitely consider the 16ft or 20ft length mats.

3) Price and Quality

Lastly, price and quality. It's your responsibility as a consumer to look into every manufacturer, reseller, and ecommerce site.  Sites like wholesaleairtrack.com can seem appealing given their prices but air products are delicate products that require quality material and quality craftsmanship.
